1. Who we are

ValueMyName is a product of Scalestreams, Avondowns Court, 7–9 Alma Vale Rd, Clifton, Bristol BS8 2HL, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@valuemyname.com. These terms govern your use of the ValueMyName website and valuation service.

2. What a valuation is — and is not

Valuations are model-based estimates of what a domain would realistically transact for with an informed end-user buyer. They are published as ranges with stated confidence and the evidence behind them. They are informational only — not financial, legal or investment advice — and no sale outcome, price or timescale is guaranteed. External appraisals, where shown, are evidence considered by our model, never the result itself.

3. Your account and allowances

Sign-in is passwordless via your email address; you are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure. Included valuation allowances and any paid tiers are described at the point of use.

4. Ownership and representation

Looking up a domain does not assert or prove that you own it. Selling intent must be declared explicitly, and any representation arrangement requires separate ownership verification before it proceeds.

5. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, resell or systematically extract valuation output; do not use the service to infringe third-party rights; do not attempt to access another customer’s data.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales. Otherwise our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions you take in reliance on model output.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to account holders. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
