Methodology

Retail Market Value is our estimate of the price at which a domain could reasonably transact to an informed end-user buyer in a normal arm’s-length sale — not a liquidation price, and not the theoretical maximum one uniquely motivated buyer might pay.

The model layers Domain Equity (the name’s standalone quality), a confidence-gated Buyer-Supported Premium (only the incremental value real demand can support — weak or single-buyer evidence is capped, never amplified), and Market Calibration against relevance-ranked comparable sales.

Confidence is not cosmetic: it controls how far uncertain evidence may move the result and sets the width of the published range. External automated appraisals, where used, are evidence for calibration — never the answer.

Every valuation stores its model version and complete evidence snapshot, so a historical result can always be explained and reproduced exactly as it was calculated.
